About Us: The Voice of Our School
Since its founding, the Runnymede Times has served as more than just a place for announcements or headlines. It began as a modest initiative by a group of students who believed in the power of student voice—curious minds who wanted to dig deeper, write clearly, and share boldly.
Today, that spirit continues. This paper exists to give students a platform: to write about the subjects they care about, to investigate ideas, to ask questions others aren’t asking. Whether it’s opinion, news, science, arts, or interviews, we encourage pieces that reflect personal curiosity and rigorous thought.
But this is also a place to learn. Researching, editing, writing—these are not just academic tasks. They help you grow as a thinker. Every article is an invitation to stretch what you know and sharpen how you express it.
We believe every student has a voice worth hearing. Our aim is to provide the space, the tools, and the encouragement for those voices to be heard.
